Marketing agency rates and the other questions worth asking first

Short answers to what buyers usually ask before they hire marketing help, from fees and notice periods to who owns the data.

01

Rates and fees

Most agencies quote either a monthly retainer, an hourly rate or a percentage of ad spend. Retainers for a single channel commonly start in the low thousands of dollars per month, and full service teams run well into five figures. Our plans are fixed monthly fees from 1,900 USD for one specialist to 9,600 USD for a full team, with Enterprise from 18,000 USD.

A percentage rewards spending more, not spending better. A fixed fee keeps the marketer focused on results per dollar, and your fee does not rise the day you raise the ad budget.

No. You pay ad platforms directly from accounts in your company name. The fee covers the work only.

You pay twelve months at once and save 15 percent against monthly billing. Scope, team and notice rules on the plan do not change.

02

Contracts and notice

No. Engagements run month to month and renew until you cancel with 30 days notice by email.

Yes, with the same 30 days notice. The team, the accounts and the documentation stay ready for a restart.

Only after you accept the written proposal. Sending a brief costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

03

Ownership and access

You do. Ad accounts, analytics, tag manager, CRM and every report live in your company accounts. We work with access you grant and hand everything back the day an engagement ends.

Everything produced and paid for within the engagement belongs to you, including source files.

We keep it on our own servers, and access is limited to the people preparing your proposal and those who operate the service. We do not sell it or pass it on for anyone else to market to you. See security.

04

Process and timing

No. The quiz, the brief and the proposal all work without one. Questions about your brief come by email.

Within two business days of your confirmed brief, by email.

Usually within 5 to 10 days of accepting the proposal, depending on the profile. The board shows a typical start for each one.

Yes. Start on Specialist and move to Channel Team or Growth Bench when the next channel is ready.

Change your answers and the board recalculates, or tell us in the notes field what we missed. The proposal can also recommend a different profile if your website and brief point that way.

Specialist reports monthly, Channel Team every two weeks, Growth Bench and Enterprise weekly. Every report shows the KPIs agreed in the proposal.
